How to get SIRA approval?
SIRA manages the CCTV system clearance procedure via its web platform. All Security Service Providers (SSPs) that have received SIRA approval may access this portal. If you use the security services, you must also create a Facility Account on our website.
The approval process operates in the manner outlined below.
The SSP transmits every aspect of your CCTV system to the SIRA interface. Information provided includes model numbers, IP addresses, and camera-to-recorder mapping. SSPs also use the portal to upload schematic diagrams and make maintenance contracts.
- When the installation and documentation are finished, the SSP asks for a SIRA audit. When the audit request is approved, SIRA assigns an auditor to your CCTV system. The auditor conducts an audit while on site at the SSP.
- If your CCTV installation doesn't meet SIRA requirements, the auditor will write an FAIL report. The issues that need to be fixed in order for the inspection to be deemed successful are listed by the auditor in this report.
- The SSP modifies your CCTV system and reapplies for inspection in response to the auditor's observations. If your CCTV system satisfies all requirements when the auditor comes back to inspect it, they will approve it. The cycle will repeat if the auditor rejects it once again.
